Dining Room – Before, During & After

Buffy’s dining room has always been functional, eclectic, and fun!  Years ago she purchased a large wrought iron and wood shelf that became the display piece of her antique finds. Visitors spent hours staring at all the dishes, jars, glass figurines, silver, and plants tastefully displayed on the shelves. But with the new kitchen came the idea to add matching display and storage cabinets in the dining room. The cute round table and green velvet chairs were replaced with a reclaimed wood table and Amish Windsor chairs. The green walls were textured and painted Simply White and the gray floral window treatments were replaced with floor-length plaid panels.  FYI: the shelving is now in her bedroom and the green velvet chairs found their way to the family room.
