After years of owning a historical colonial home and working long hours in the fruit industry, Julie is beginning a new phase. This phase includes entertaining friends and family in a newly remodeled ranch home. Buffy and Julie worked together to include many of the furnishings Julie loved from her previous home while giving a modern update to her new place. Julie wanted this new space to be beautiful and comfortable for entertaining her children, grandchildren, and friends.
Julie’s inspiration fabric ties her furniture, art, rug, and lamps together.
The warm leather sofa is inviting and comfortable.
The square glass table is the centerpiece of her new family room.
Loved antique chairs were recovered in a coordinating floral.
Brass stacking tables add color and texture.
Adding a sisal rug made this table pop!
Checked, floral and “kitty cat” fabric takes the “formal” out of her living room.
Two matching lamps add texture to her antique buffet.
Throughout the house, Julie displays antique fruit ads she has collected.
Buffy added a small rug and cart to the kitchen.
The cart can hold useful items or be decorated for the holidays.
A sisal rug under her dining table adds a modern feel.
