Take 5 – Add Mums to Hanging Baskets

Summer heat is gone and autumn hangs in the air. Hanging baskets although still beautiful look worse for summer wear — it’s been too hot and it shows. Now that the weather is cooling the stores are loaded with mums!  Once the mums show up at the grocery store just add a couple to your shopping cart and stuff them in your pots.  Pull off dead leaves and give the baskets a good trimming.

A quick fix that will really help transition to autumn and give your hanging baskets another 6 weeks or so of beauty.
